Paint Easy Flowers on Macarons

You don’t have to be an artist to paint these easy flowers using food coloring. I painted macarons, but you could paint them on iced cookies or fondant as well. You can also expand on this technique to create several flowers of different sizes and colors.

1. Paint a circle.
2. Paint 5 more circles around that circle.
3. Add a leaf.
4. Add a second, smaller leaf.
5. Add a line on the outer edge of each of the 5 circles and a circle in the middle in a darker color than the rest of the flower.
6. Add 4 more lines between the middle circle and outer lines.
7. DONE!
