Dash had a health scare this year so I wanted to go big for his 14th birthday! And who doesn’t love Dolly Parton?!
The Food
Really went hard on pink, red, and orange for that 70s Dolly Parton theme! I even made my own sprinkles so they would match the colors exactly. I included some Smart Sweets and Poppi in flavors that matched the color aesthetic as well!
The Cookies
I created an illustration of Dolly Parton and Dash that I used throughout the party, but it was especially important to me that I included the design on the cookies!
The Flowers
You know I’m obsessed with sola flowers so of course I made my own arrangements. I ordered dye in watermelon, true pink, and tangerine from Sola Wood Flowers. I splattered the dye on some of the flowers for a nod to country with a subtle cow print. I also found these adorable daisy acrylic vases on Amazon to put the flowers in.
The Banner
I love the look of felt letters but they’re really time consuming. So I created some using a quick and easy method that I think turned out great! Obviously not as durable as felt though.
Dolly Parton Swag
Obviously this entire themed was inspired by Dolly’s new Doggy Parton line of dog accessories! They have so many cute things, but I kept it simple with just a classic t-shirt for Dash. I also got some Dolly Parton books, tattoos (cowgirl and dog party), and butterfly wings for the kids!
