It turns out that llama cupcakes (or somewhat ambiguous fluffy animal) are pretty easy to create. All you need is some coconut, a little bit of fondant, and a hand full of chocolate chips!
For these cupcakes I made a lemon cake with raspberry filling, but they can be any flavor as long as the frosting is white. After baking and frosting your cupcakes, dip them in coconut flakes. Cut out ears and noses from fondant. Then add chocolate chips for eyes. So easy!
Satin Ice makes a vegan fondant that doesn’t have dairy or gelatin in it. I used these food pens to draw the mouth and this edible gold paint for the ears and nose.
Tip: Once you dip them in coconut, squeeze them on two sides to give them a more oval shape.
