Our wedding’s theme was a galaxy literature combo and so much of it we just made ourselves!
- All flowers (bouquets, centerpieces, miscellaneous decor) were hand made from the pages of F. Scott Fitzgerald books.
- Cornhole boards and various signs were hand painted to look like galaxies.
- Centerpieces consisted of a handmade LED lit globe that sat on various books accented by paper flowers and hearts.
- Place cards were presented in various books that had the pages folded so the book fanned out. Each card was a handmade paper TARDIS that directed guests to a specific planet name which hung above each table.
- The guest book was a library card catalog with accompanying library cards and envelopes for guests to fill out.
- Handmade tulle flowers were hung throughout.
- The photo booth, which was a wooden box made to resemble the instagram icon, was built from scratch. The outside had a display monitor to preview photos and these images were instantly uploaded to Smugmug via a wifi enabled SD card.
- Because the bridesmaid dresses had a low back, I sewed special strapless bras that consisted of red elastic that matched their shoes.
- I designed our Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy themed invitations and programs.
- I edited all of the wedding photos.
